Role Summary
As the BD Hunting Lead - SSU, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of seller acquisition and incubation for self-sign up (SSU), specifically focusing on Mass Sellers and 0-90 Day Seller cohort. You will manage BPO (offsite) resources to drive the successful onboarding, incubation, and growth of sellers across Lazada’s platform, ensuring high adoption of key mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Seller Acquisition (Hunting)
• Lead and execute strategies to recruit Mass Sellers through scalable acquisition funnels and community/cluster-based sourcing models.
• Coordinate with lead bank, OM ads, digital tools, and partners to ensure a healthy and consistent seller pipeline.
• Monitor performance and optimize conversion across the acquisition journey (from leads to onboarded sellers).
2. Mass Seller Incubation (0-90D Sellers)
• Own and drive end-to-end incubation journey for 0-90D sellers who are not directly assigned to PICs.
• Define and refine incubation strategy for new sellers: onboarding assistance, adoption of key tasks (uploading SKUs, VCM/FSM join, campaign join, investment), and gradual progression toward being “healthy sellers.”
• Implement scaled initiatives such as automation, educational tools on ASC, and mass communication (Zalo, email, livestream workshops).
3. BPO Management (Offsite Support Team)
• Manage and lead offsite BPO team for SSU onboarding and incubation operations.
• Build guidebooks, track KPIs, and monitor agent quality and efficiency (call performance, adoption rate, completion rate, etc.).
• Align BPO operations with BD strategy and platform initiatives.
4. Data Monitoring & Optimization
• Analyze performance metrics (GMVC, marketing solution spending, adoption %, seller retention, purchasability, etc.) and recommend actionable strategies to improve.
• Provide regular updates to leaders with insights and improvement plans.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align hunting and incubation process.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 2-year experience in leading a team
• 4-5 years of experience in BD, seller operations, or e-commerce; experience with seller onboarding is a plus
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent data analysis and strategic thinking
• Familiarity with e-commerce ecosystems and seller behavior
• Experience managing outsourced operations (BPO) is a big advantage
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce, Looker)
• Good presentation skill in both Vietnamese & English
