We are looking for an experienced, driven, and strategic Regional Payment Solutions Lead to oversee the innovation, development, and optimization of Lazada’s digital payment offerings in Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia. This role will be instrumental in launching market-relevant payment methods, optimizing payment performance, and fostering strategic partnerships to unlock seamless payment experiences for users.
You will work closely with regional product, logistics, country operations, commercial, legal, and compliance teams, as well as external partners including banks, e-wallets and when needed regulators.
This role will lead the development and execution of the digital payment strategy in PH, VN, and MY, with Philippines being the key focus country to prioritize. The role requires capability in conceptualizing and launching new payment solutions (e.g., deferred payment, QR, loyalty-based payment and other innovative payment solutions), including improving bottlenecks in payment adoption and experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
Minimum 7 years of experience in payment product management, partnerships, or payment operations.
Proven track record in launching new payment products or channels at scale, preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or banking.
Deep understanding of payment ecosystems in PH (cards, wallets, bank rails, acquirers, QR payments).
